How to ask WineRoutes to delete your account data, profile information, and associated content records.

How to request deletion

You can request deletion of your WineRoutes account data by emailing privacy@wineroutes.wine from the email address tied to your account or by using the privacy contact details published in the app and on this website.

Please include your display name, account email, phone number if relevant, and whether you are requesting account closure only or deletion of related profile content, saved routes, reviews, or other associated records where applicable.

Verification and timing

We may ask for reasonable verification before acting on a deletion request so we do not delete the wrong account or remove information fraudulently. Once verified, we will process the request within a reasonable period and confirm when the main account record has been handled.

If you created public route links, reviews, or support cases, we may need to coordinate how associated content is removed, anonymised, or retained depending on the nature of the record and our legal obligations.

What may remain

WineRoutes may keep limited records required for fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, financial reconciliation, backup recovery, or security investigations. Those retained records are kept only for the period reasonably necessary for those purposes.

Some technical logs, diagnostic records, and backups may persist temporarily after the main account record is deleted. Device-side cache, downloaded content, and reminders stored locally can also be cleared from Profile preferences inside the app.

Additional note

Deletion requests may require identity verification before account and content removal is completed, and some records may be retained where the law or legitimate security obligations require it.
