Eligibility and responsible use

WineRoutes helps users discover wine farms, events, routes, and related experiences. The service is intended only for people who are of legal drinking age in their jurisdiction. You must use the service lawfully and responsibly, and you are responsible for safe travel, tasting decisions, transport arrangements, and compliance with alcohol and road-safety laws.

WineRoutes does not support, encourage, or condone drinking and driving, and you must not use the app while driving. The service is not a guarantee of age suitability, venue availability, trading hours, pricing, accessibility, or event status, so you should verify important details directly with the venue before visiting or booking.

Accounts, login, and security

Accounts are personal to the user who created them. You must provide accurate information, keep your password and login credentials secure, and promptly notify us if you suspect unauthorised access.

We may suspend, limit, or terminate access if we reasonably believe an account is being used for abuse, fraud, scraping, impersonation, unlawful activity, or other conduct that harms WineRoutes, venues, service providers, or other users.

Reviews, routes, and user content

If you submit reviews, profile information, uploaded media, or public route shares, you keep your ownership rights but give WineRoutes a non-exclusive licence to host, reproduce, adapt, publish, and moderate that content for operating, improving, and promoting the service.

You must not post unlawful, defamatory, misleading, infringing, invasive, or abusive content. We may remove or restrict user content, disable public route links, or moderate reviews where needed to protect the service or comply with legal obligations.

Listings, maps, ads, and third-party services

Winery listings, route suggestions, maps, directions, and event pages may rely on data from venues, partners, mapping providers, advertisers, authentication services, and infrastructure operators. Those third-party services may change or fail independently of WineRoutes.

WineRoutes may include advertising-supported experiences, external links, map handoffs, or third-party sign-in. We are not responsible for third-party terms, privacy practices, venue conduct, reservation outcomes, or external service interruptions beyond our reasonable control.

Intellectual property, liability, and law

WineRoutes and its branding, software, curated content, and service materials remain the property of Full Monty Development or its licensors. Except where the law allows, you may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit the service without permission.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an as-available basis and our liability is limited to direct losses that cannot lawfully be excluded. Nothing in these terms limits non-excludable consumer protections or liability that the law does not allow us to limit. These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa, subject to any mandatory protections that apply in your place of residence.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms when the service, law, or risk profile changes. Material changes may require renewed acceptance before continued use of the app or account features.

For legal questions, contact Full Monty Development, South Africa, 62 Dahlia Street, at legal@wineroutes.wine or privacy@wineroutes.wine.

Additional note

These hosted terms are the governing public version for release, customer support, and in-app legal acceptance flows.
